Only shit music ! Horrible. Learn how to make a proper video. Start with no music and talk a little about your subject.
Let's go Arthur
Looking fantastic Arthur. The forever perfectionist.
This is great Arthur - well done to you and to the Pro videographer - its a very well made video.
Well done, Arthur! So young at heart!
Brilliant ❤
Sehr gut gemacht
Cool 😊
Nice one Arthur! 🎉
Question...why dont they spin counter to the main Rotor Torque if they are overspeeding it to get up in the air? I would think at least for the first little bit until the pusher started giving you some forward thrust and you could come off the throttle (disengage) the top prop, you would have some counter spin....
Wonderful, wonder how many of these are still in the air?
Incredible to have 2200 hours in the air in a Gyro.
Very good for a 1st solo in a Rotorway built by yourself
What a builder, well done Arthur. The best upgrades I have seen on a Rotorway. Excellent skill!
So sad to see one of these awesome machines leave🥲
This is awesome. Well done to Arthur for adding a turbo to this awesome home build. A True ambassador and Pioneer for Rotorway!!
Well done to Arthur and Rotorway to outperform the other 2 seaters. Awesome!!!
NOW THIS LOOKS GOOD
Its so typical of the British, who had created the worlds first working VTOL passenger aircraft in the Fairy Rotodyne in the early 1960's and wasted the opportunity to lead the world in this technology. Why was it killed off, because in the UK, the government has no imagination of what could have been, if only they had just developed and perfected further. If the Rotodyne had been adopted by the military, and then by the civilian markets, by 2024, the craft would have evolved and most likely , by now would have been a different animal, quieter, larger and more profitable, but the UK killed due to lack of funds! So sad, but so typical, and such a waste of an opportunity!
So help me understand this… Without a tail rotor, there is no way it can hover for a long time. The only way I believe they accomplished this is by doing this… Pre rotate the rotor to a much higher rpm than a normal gyro can do. Use a rotor with adjustable pitch Once rotor is up to speed, launch it up and gain altitude Pitch up and use the motor at the back to gain speed and autorotate the main blades back to normal operating speeds Fly it like a normal gyrocopter. This is an interesting concept which I never thought of before. If I got the process wrong, someone please correct me. I bought an MTO sport recently and don’t know too much about autogyros.
@AymanRacing You are absolutely right with your description. Congratulations for your new Gyrocopter. Just to let you know ELA EVOC is also a Jump take-off Gyrocopter bringing out.
Amazing
Would love to have something like this
Awesome
Such a cool and interesting video thank you for making and posting Arthur !! Big regards from Europe
Please tell me about the roller rocker who did it where did you get done
I would like to know how you put the super charger on it and what carborator you used, unless yours was fuel injected
Hi Larry, the supercharger is removed and a Turbocharger is fitted. My RW is fuel injected
Beautiful job. Congratulations!
That is so awesome!! Great job building & flying!
Awesome video Arthur, I would have loved to joined you on this flight!
Any time!
great end of year flight. all filmed with your phone? according to the noise level must be very windy up there 🎧
Yes all filmed with my phone. Very windy considering having a forward speed of about 130 km 🙄
Fantastic video Arthur. You have captured the waterfalls perfectly.
Many thanks!
Thanks all for watching my video
My favorite Helicopter of all time...thanks for sharing.
With the long tail and the heavy piston engine in the back, how are these even balanced? What if one seat is empty?
Good question, the piston engine and the fuel is almost under the mast, and the tail is very light. On the Rotorway Helikopter you have to add a 10kg weight in front of the passenger skid if you fly solo. If you fly with 2 person, the weight will be fitted just behind the engine to compensate for being heavy in the front. You can see the weight in the video if you watch carefully 😉
I worked for Groen Brothers Aviation (GBA) from 1994 to 2008. I purchased nearly every component on the Hawk 4 prototypes and witnessed many of the flight tests where the vertical takeoffs and landings were performed. GBA was on the cusp of certifying the aircraft when the attacks on 9/11/2001 occurred. That event kicked the barrel out from under the company. GBA clawed their way back for another 7 years and it looked like they might finally get into production when the recession of 2008 dealt a death blow to the company. It never recovered after that.
Thanks for the information on GBA. What happened to their assets? Where is the tooling and components?
Sensacional.
hvaða verð er á girokopter
👍 great video & flying Ulf Sweden
Im not a fan... gyocopters are fun tough, but in the big boy world, their to complicated and have limited use... dont get me wrong the engineering is great... just not useful.
Just perfect, next destination Mount Everest ;)
Is your turbo system the precursor to the A600 Turbo?
I designed and installed my turbo before RW installed the turbo on there helicopter
Amazing looking (and performing) bird. With the small fenestron and long boom, I wonder what the tail rotor authority is like...
Does anyone know how High DA you can land the newer A600 Phoenix(180 hp) With pilot only? I'm looking to buy a kit to fly in the mtns of UTAH but can't seem to get an answer to this question?
Does anyone know how high DA you can land their stock A600 turbo (180hp)? I'm looking at buying a kit but would really like to know this before I buy it.
Great stuff, what accent is that?
Nice mods. Next time you make a video though, exclude the music. It made listening to you describe your wonderful additions a tad difficult.
It was Miguel de la Cierva who invented it...he wasn't transgender or black...he was a white guy!!!
Its more on swimming lesson.
